What Ekbukil is

A calm place to hold grief

Most emotional wellbeing apps try to measure progress or reinforce habits. Ekbukil starts somewhere else: grief is not a task to optimize. Here, you can take one breath, write one line, save a photo, or return to a reflection that helps, without turning any of that into a demand.

01 — Breathe

One quiet minute can be enough.

Short sessions to slow the pace and make a little more room in the present moment. No score, no target, no need to make it a habit.

02 — Journal

Write one line, or everything.

A flexible place for a sentence, a memory, a hard day, or something you do not want to lose. Prompts are there only when words feel far away.

03 — Keepsakes

Your memories, on your terms.

Photos, videos, and voice notes stay in a private space. Ekbukil places a gentler threshold before visual memories appear, so you decide when to open them.

04 — Mood

Name how today feels.

Simple check-ins help you notice what is present without grading the day or turning emotions into performance.

05 — Reflections

Words to return to when they help.

Reflections offer a place to pause, save a thought, or share it. Nothing asks you to stay longer than you want to.

A different philosophy

What Ekbukil does not try to do

It does not try to fix grief
It does not measure your progress
It does not turn pain into a routine
It does not demand recurrence
It does not treat your memories like content
Why it exists

It comes from a real loss

Ekbukil comes from a specific question: what do you do with your phone when pain shows up and no one is immediately there on the other side. The app is not meant to replace therapy, support groups, family, or friends. It is meant to accompany the time between those forms of care, when someone needs a place to set something down for a moment.

Who it may help

Support without a prescribed path.

People in recent or long-term grief
People who want strong privacy for memories and personal writing
People who reject gamified emotional apps
People looking for support, not a prescriptive solution
